Origin of a trade
350 layers of steel form the elegant structure of our wild damascus steel. The 180mm long, faceted blade with hollow grind on both sides reduces adhesion of cut material and makes the knife the all-rounder in every kitchen. Classic, wild damascus steel symbolizes the origin of the craft: The composition of different steels, chosen carefully to combine their functional properties and to create a blade far superior to the common monosteel-blades. Carbon content: 1%. The exclusive coating technology Nesmuk Protective Coating reduces the otherwise common maintenance effort and preserves the valuable blade for decades.
Mirror finish for extreme sharpness
If you ever cut with a real damascus steel knife, you will feel the difference: The hand-sharpened and hand-polished blade offers a unique sharpness and every cut reminds you of the origin of this craft.
The value of handwork
From the back with 3mm thick damascus steel the blade becomes narrower to a thousandth of a millimeter at the edge: The double sided hollow grind below the facet is made in 100% manual labor in the Nesmuk forge.
