Tradition and innovation

As an all-rounder, it can handle around 70 percent of all cutting tasks quickly and precisely. The specially shaped, wide blade with its characteristic curvature on the top and the cutting edge curved towards the tip make the cradle cut just as much a pleasure as chopping and transporting the material to be cut. Tradition and innovation meet in the Nesmuk Chinese Chef's Knife. Developed in cooperation with top Chinese restaurateurs, it is the reinterpretation of a 3500-year-old basic shape.

Coating for maximum cutting comfort

DLC coatings were developed for the highest demands and are used, for example, in aerospace and Formula 1 engines. The amorphous carbon layer, only a few micrometers thick, is insensitive to acids, bases, extreme temperatures and similar aggressive influences. Nesmuk uses an extremely hard, deep black coating variant which is characterised by low friction coefficients and enormous scratch resistance.

Unique steel for extreme sharpness

The uncoated and polished cutting bevel guarantees the finest possible cut: the unique Nesmuk steel contains the rare element niobium - this is responsible for the very fine steel structure despite the inertia of rust. At the same time, greater mechanical strength is achieved, making the blade stronger and tougher. The result is extreme sharpness and increased tool life and cutting durability.
